Three massive indoor play yards always human attended for the safety of all the pets in our care

Massive Indoor Play Yards

Our indoor play areas provide a wide range of benefits for both you and your fur baby. Dogs need regular exercise to maintain their physical health and mental well-being.  A large play area allows dogs to run, chase, and play freely, providing ample space for them to burn off energy and engage in natural behaviours. Our large play areas facilitate socialization, allowing dogs to interact, play, and learn appropriate behavior from their peers. This helps them develop better social skills and reduces the likelihood of aggression or anxiety in social situations. Debonair Dogs is proud that our spacious play areas provide opportunities for dogs to explore and discover new scents, sights, and sounds. It offers mental stimulation through various environmental features such as agility equipment, toys, and obstacles. With more space available, dogs have a reduced likelihood of feeling confined or crowded, which can lead to stress or behavioral issues. A large play area allows dogs to move freely, which promotes a sense of safety and comfort. Additionally, proper zoning and separation within the play area can prevent conflicts between dogs and minimize the risk of injuries.

Human Attended Play Areas

Because we offer a larger play area, staff members have better visibility and can monitor dogs more effectively. This allows them to intervene quickly if necessary, Preventing potential conflicts, ensuring the safety of all dogs, and maintaining order within the playgroup. A spacious play area also enables Debonair Dogs to offer a wide range of activities and services. We can set up different play zones or areas for dogs of varying sizes, temperaments, or different play styles. This flexibility allows for more personalized care for your puppers, and tailored experiences based on the individual needs of your dog.

High Staff to Doggy Ratio

At Debonair Dogs, we are very proud of the number of staff members we have available to monitor and care for your dog when at the daycare. Dogs in a daycare setting require constant supervision to ensure their safety and well-being. We offer our clients a ratio of one staff member to a maximum of fifteen dogs. With a high staff-to-dog ratio, staff members can closely monitor a smaller number of dogs, thereby reducing the risk of accidents, conflicts, or injuries. Staff members can intervene quickly if necessary, preventing potential issues and providing immediate assistance in case of emergencies.

24-7 Facility Camera System

Our camera system spans our entire facility and seamlessly connects to our app, allowing you to check in on your beloved pooch anytime throughout the day. Here's what you can expect to see:

There are other important benefits to having a high staff-to-dog ratio:

  • Individual Attention: Dogs, like humans, benefit from individual attention and interaction. A high staff-to-dog ratio allows our staff members to engage with dogs individually, providing affection, playtime, and mental stimulation. This individual attention helps to alleviate any anxiety or loneliness that some dogs may experience in a group setting.

  • Personalized Care: Every dog has unique needs, preferences, and temperaments. A higher staff-to-dog ratio enables the staff to better understand and cater to the specific requirements of each dog. They can provide personalized care, such as administering medications, catering to special dietary needs, or accommodating dogs with mobility issues or behavioral challenges.

  • Behavior Monitoring and Intervention: Dogs in a daycare facility may exhibit various behaviors and interactions throughout the day. A high staff-to-dog ratio allows our staff members to closely observe and monitor your doggo’s behaviors, identifying signs of stress, fear, aggression, or any other concerning behavior. They can intervene promptly, redirecting negative behaviors and promoting positive socialization.

  • Enrichment and Engagement: Staff members play a crucial role in providing enrichment activities and mental stimulation for dogs in daycare. With a higher staff-to-dog ratio, they can engage dogs in interactive play, training exercises, and other stimulating activities. This helps prevent boredom, promotes positive behavior, and contributes to the overall mental and physical well-being of the dogs.

  • Efficient Handling of Logistics: A high staff-to-dog ratio allows for efficient management of logistical tasks. This includes feeding schedules, potty breaks, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. With more staff members available, these tasks can be carried out and basic needs are promptly and effectively met throughout the day. Overall, a high staff-to-dog ratio ensures that each dog receives adequate attention, supervision and care, creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for all dogs in the daycare facility.
